The music was constant, uplifting, and filled with His presence.  The crafting was truly amazing the way people use their gifts!  The food was so much more controlled with the right amount of everything and not too much left over–perfect.  The fellowship was great again.  The devotions were so well done and timely.  God’s timing is the most amazing of all.

Be on the look out for the next large group gathering!  I will keep you posted.

Snowed-in is Beautiful at Bridgeport

Some of us beat the snowstorm, but others had to wait it out.  There was a large amount of snow that fell in a short amount of time.  Although the snow blew hard and stung my face, there is no way to describe the wonder of what I saw.  Breathtaking, I tell you!

This year’s Enchanted Escape 2009 was at the Bridgeport Resort in Sturgeon Bay. The Bridgeport Resort is an all-suite condominium resort overlooking Lake Michigan where you have the use of a full kitchen, living room, and separate bedrooms per suite.

People Crafting Through the Potluck

We had quite an assorted blend of foods, since most of the food was potluck.  Kelly Huntley did an amazing job coordinating this.  Colleen Birdsall just jumped in and helped make that all happen for Kelly, even wrapping the potato bar spuds in foil!  You both need to know how much you are appreciated.  Thank you!

We saw an amazing assortment of gadgetry.  Some were beading, scrapbooking, quilting, knitting, crocheting, and even a little needle point.  Those are divine gifts put to task.  The artistry is breathtaking at times.  I am so glad to have the time to spend with you all.  You make ministry happen.

There are two meeting rooms at the Bridgeport Resort, and we used both of them.  The one downstairs filled fast with the remaining people in the upper level.  Here too are some amazing artists.  This was relaxing.
